Self-Archiving Policy

The Journal of Cancer Research and Reviews (JCRR) is committed to promoting open access and the broad dissemination of scientific research. Our self-archiving policy empowers authors to share their work at various stages of the publication process—from pre-submission to the final published article—ensuring that research is widely accessible to the global scientific community.

Pre-submitted Manuscripts

  • Authors are encouraged to share their manuscripts on preprint servers or repositories before submitting to JCRR.
  • Early dissemination enables engagement with fellow researchers and increases the visibility and potential impact of the work.
  • Authors should provide details of the pre-submitted manuscript, including the repository name and DOI, in the cover letter at the time of submission.

Submitted Manuscripts

  • Authors may archive their manuscripts after submission but before peer review begins.
  • To maintain transparency, authors should inform the JCRR editorial office via email, including the repository name and DOI where the manuscript is archived.

Under Review

  • During peer review, authors retain the right to archive their manuscripts.
  • Authors should email the editorial office with repository details and the corresponding DOI to ensure proper documentation and transparency.

Accepted Manuscripts

  • Once a manuscript is formally accepted, authors can archive the accepted version.
  • Authors must provide the editorial office with repository information and the DOI to document the archived version accurately.

Published Articles

  • After publication in JCRR, authors are encouraged to archive the final published version.
  • It is essential to update the DOI associated with any preprint or accepted version to match the DOI of the published article.
  • Authors are encouraged to share the published article through various channels, including institutional repositories, research networking platforms, personal websites, blogs, and social media, to maximize the reach and impact of their research.

This policy ensures that all research published in JCRR is widely accessible, promoting transparency, collaboration, and the advancement of cancer research globally.
